Denso Airybees, Nishio city

Nishio City is a city partnering with Denso Airybees as its hometown. It is also certified as one of the “Local Brands” by the Patent Office and is famous for the “powdered green tea of Nishio” and the “eel of Isshiki”. Here are some of the spots in Nishio City recommended by the members of Denso Airybees. Why don’t you visit them when you come to watch their games!

Nishio City Gymnasium


Hub of Sports Events held in Nishio City

Nishio City Gymnasium is where the games of Airybees take place. It consists of approximately 2,000 seats, and sumo tours, W League basketball games, and T League table tennis games have been held in the past. It also has parking spaces for approximately 680 cars.

King Farm 5 minutes by car from the Gymnasium

Exquisite Baumkuchen with Natural Flavor

It is a farm growing strawberries and ripe tomatoes. They have uncompromising approach toward soil. You can enjoy strawberry picking during the strawberry season (November-May), and Airybees athletes are looking forward to it every year. There is a café by the farm, where you can buy Baumkuchen and parfait using plenty of strawberries.

A Western-style Delicatessen Shop selling Great Hamburgers

Ibun Jinja 12 minutes by car from the Gymnasium

Grand Guarding Gods of Nishio, Watching over the Citizens and Airybees

It is a venerable shrine with over 1,100 years of history, and, as a guardian deity of Nishio, it has traditionally enjoyed great prestige among the successive lords of the Nishio Castle as well as the public. Airybees have always visited here to pray for the victory before the opening of the League.

Tamagawa Eel 10 minutes by car from the Gymnasium

“Grilled eel rice bowl, top grade”, which uses one whole eel

An authentic eel restaurant. They will start grilling eels only after receiving orders. “Eel of Isshiki”, the local specialty, is grilled and provided with crispy skin and steaming meat. It is Ms. Tashiro’s favorite. While waiting for the eel to be grilled, you can enjoy the buffet of about 20 kinds of pickles as much as you like.
