Toyota Auto Body Queenseis in Kariya City

Kariya City is one of Japan's leading automobile industrial cities and a leader in manufacturing in Aichi Prefecture.
On the other hand, the city is also home to many shell middens and old kilns dating back to the Jomon Period, and it prospered as a castle town during the Edo Period.
It is a vibrant city where industry and culture are in harmony.

Wing Arena Kariya


Various sports including V-League are held

“Wing Arena Kariya”, located in the Kariya-City General Athletic Park, hosts home games of the Toyota Auto Body Queenseis of the V-League, which is based in Kariya City. It is also one of the best venues for sporting events in the prefecture, hosting home games of the JTEKT STINGS of the V-League, SEAHORSES MIKAWA of the B-League, and other Aichi teams in the W-League and Japan Handball League. In addition to the main arena and sub-arenas for games, the facility also has training rooms, a fitness studio, and a swimming pool.

Kariya Highway Oasis: 20-minute drive from Wing Arena

You can enjoy dining, shopping and hot spring all day

A large Ferris wheel is an eye-catching feature of this complex located in the Kariya Parking Area. It has restaurants, stores, and a hot spring bath, and is particularly popular for its fresh local vegetables, fruits, and fish at the “Oasis Farm” fresh market. The Queenseis players are said to be relaxing at the “Natural Hot Spring Kakitsubata” after hard days’ practice. The adjacent Iwagaike Park, with its go-karts, athletic facilities, and large playground equipment, is very popular with children.

Kariya City Museum of History: 15-minute drive from Wing Arena

The history of Kariya from the Jomon Period to the modern times can be fully understood

A museum where visitors can learn the history and culture of Kariya City. The permanent exhibition is divided into two areas: the "Festival Plaza" on the first floor, which displays floats and festival paraphernalia from the feudal lord's procession, Mando Matsuri (Mando Festival), and Noda Amagoikasa Odori (Noda Amagoikasa Odori dance), and the "History Plaza" on the second floor, which introduces the history from the Jomon Period to the present industrial city. In addition, various special exhibitions are also held.

The bakery is a favorite of Queenseis players. It is popular for its prepared dogs and sandwiches made with meat from local butchers as well as cream buns filled with homemade custard cream. In addition to having an eating space, the store also sells sundries. It opens from 7:00 a.m.

Imokawa udon noodles

Very popular during the Edo Period!? The soul food of Kariya

Flat noodles were eaten in Imokawa, Mikawa Province, which is now the city of Kariya, during the Edo Period. It is a local dish that appears in “Tokaidochu Hizakurige” and “Koshoku Ichidai Otoko”. The history of this dish died out during the Meiji Period, but it was revived by a local revitalization group in Kariya City. “Kisan” and another restaurant in the city serve it.
